   Susan Boyle said no one ever gave her a chance to perform. No matter what happens to the girl for the rest of her life, she will be fondly thought of by me. My grandmother was born in Motherwell, near Glasgow. I must say that Scottish people are all very much like Susan Boyle. There is a certain humbleness in those born in Scotland. Life in Scotland has a purpose. Life is fulfilling.

   I hope she becomes successful and I hope even more she stays the same. Her story which none of us know yet, I am sure will come to the forefront. I hope we are even more amazed.

   Some will say she is proof you cannot judge a book by it’s cover. I hate that phrase. We should not be judging anyone except perhaps yourself. And we usually lie about that anyway.

   Thank you for your simple article. Your few words here is one of the reasons your work is so laudatory.
