Did you ever have one of those days..just too tired to work, think, and, dare I say it, too tired to blog.
Life gets overwhelming. Can’t sleep. How will you ever get the energy to finish all the projects piling up.
Anyone have suggestions for great pick me ups? You know, take a walk, listen to the birds singing.
Come on. Help the CareerDiva get back to work, back on track!

Hi…I find that a few minutes of meditation in the morning, then during the day when I’m feeling stressed or tired really helps me.

a big glass of pepsi and ice, and then a really good 30 minute walk. let the sun put the energy back in you!!

Wish I had time to meditate, and I gave up soda for Lent. If you get a good idea, C.D., let me know, too!
BTW, keep up the good work (I hear praise can help relieve stress, too).

ok, meditation did some to help my spirits.
and now i’m heading for the pepsi for that final boost.
and yes, praise definitely relieves stress..keep it comin!!

1. Put on some very loud, cranking music and run around the house like a crazy person for 3 minutes
2. If you don’t have enough energy for the above, email three people that you know and trust and ask them to email you three funny things that have happened to them in the last few days
3. Watch a really funny, mindless movie or TV show and just allow yourself to escape reality for awhile
4. Watch a really SAD movie when you can CRY. A good cry for me is better than sleeping 12 hours. (although sleeping 12 hours would be good too!)

i love all your suggestions laura, especially the one about cranking music and going crazy. i haven’t done that for a while and need to.
